Supporting the BUUC

How the BUUC is important to me, and why I pledge

Your donations support the Brookfield Unitarian Universalist Church.  When we know how much is pledged for the following year, it allows us to create a balanced budget for the upcoming church year.  If you would like to pledge so that we can do this, please contact the office at [email protected].

Not sure how much to pledge?  Refer to this document for guidelines.

Pledges and Offerings may be made by check, our secure "Donate" button, PayPal, or automatic payment.

Canvass connections also provide an opportunity to hear from you about what BUUC’s strengths are, and what we can improve on; it is also a time to share new ideas and hopes.

Here are some questions to ponder during Canvass season and discuss with a member of the canvass team.

  • What made you decide to join BUUC?  How long have you attended BUUC?
  • Consider the areas of Religious Exploration, Music, and Worship as well as social and other aspects of our community.  What do you think BUUC is doing well?  Are there aspects of BUUC that you think can be improved?
  • In what ways might you want to become more involved in the BUUC?
  • What should BUUC be doing more of or less of?  Do you know of any needs among BUUC attendees and the greater community that we aren’t currently providing for that we might address?
  • Can you make a financial pledge towards our next fiscal year that begins on August 1, 2025?
  • Any other comments and ideas you’d like to share?
