Directions to the Brookfield Unitarian Universalist Church

The church is located on the Brookfield Common, at the junction of Rt. 9 and Rt. 148. It is easily accessed from the Mass Pike, Rt. 9, and Rt. 20.

Via I-90 (Mass Pike):
  • From the West: 
    Take I-90 (Mass. Pike) to Exit 8 in Palmer. Turn right on Rt. 32. Follow signs for Rt. 20 East. In approximately 13 miles you will come to Rt. 148 in Sturbridge. Turn left and follow Route 148 North 7 miles to the Brookfield Common. The church is the gray stone building on your left.
  • Optional Route: Take I-90 (Mass. Pike) to Exit 8 in Palmer. Turn left onto Rt. 32. In the center of Ware, turn right on Rt. 9 East. Follow Rt. 9 East about 10 miles to Brookfield. Turn right on Rt. 148 South. The church is the gray stone building on your right.
  • From the East:
    Take I-90 (Mass. Pike) to Exit 9 in Sturbridge. Follow signs for Rt. 20 West. In about 2 miles, you will come to Rt. 148. Turn right and follow Rt. 148 for 7 miles to the Brookfield Common. The church is the gray stone building on your left.

From Rts. 9 and 20:
The church is located directly off of Rt. 9 about 20 miles west of Worcester. Follow Rt. 9 from Worcester until you reach Rt. 148 South at the Brookfield Common. Turn left on Rt. 148. The church is the gray stone building on your right.

From Rt. 20 West in Sturbridge, take Rt. 148 North for 7 miles to the Brookfield Common. The church is the gray stone building on your left.

From the South and North:
Find the Mass Pike or Rts. 9 or 20 and follow the directions above from there.

Please note, the spot marked on the Google map is incorrect.  We are on the common, at the intersection of Upper River Street and Central Street. The Brookfield Common is between Upper River Street/Route 148 and Common Street, near Route 9 (not the large green area marked Mall Common).
