Choir & Music Program

AN OVERVIEW OF THE BUUC MUSIC PROGRAM
Music is a part of each worship service and is planned in collaboration with the religious leaders of each service. The choir contributes to half of the services of the year and an array of instrumentalists and singers give us music for the other half. The choir meets on Thursdays (except holidays) from mid August through the third week of June. The non-choir musical offerings are as varied as possible, drawing on the talents of members and friends of the BUUC community. Recent contributions include solo French horn, flute, hammered dulcimer, Celtic harp and piano; vocal solos and duos with guitar, and various ad hoc groups, most famously various combinations for Celtic Music Sunday, which is the Sunday before St. Patrick's Day. Most service music uses the Steere Organ and/or the Lester baby grand piano. To participate in the music program or for any questions, contact the music director.
MUSIC INFO CENTRAL
We have a spot in the parlor, on the little reed organ, where you can often find more information about the music you have heard that day. You may also find flyers for concerts held here at BUUC, as well as other arts and music events in the area, especially including things involving members of our church community.
BUUC CONCERT SERIES
Check the events tab and the church calendar for concerts throughout the year.
